An original watercolour of a Phalenopsis, moth orchid.
This phalaenopsis flowers year after year. I had to work on the buds quickly as they grow and change so fast, after that the flowers and then the leaves and roots. I don’t stake my phalaenopsis stems any more, I love to see the natural shapes they take on unstaked.
