I am delighted to be taking part in the Society of Botanical Artists (SBA) Annual show Plantae 2022
I’ve recently been accepted as a Fellow of the SBA and am thrilled to be sending down some of my smaller Arisaema Japanese ink pieces. The show features work by Fellow members of the SBA and applicants to the Open exhibition. Its the first physical show since lockdown so the members are really looking forward to it.

I’m taking downArisaema kiushianum 1 & 2 – ‘Tweedledum & Tweedledee’ I just love these diminutive Arisaema, they grew in the same pot and their stripy spathes reminded me of the slightly crazed Alice in Wonderland characters as soon as I spied them!
Also coming down with me is Arisaema cillatum, I love the way this inflorescence sits up and says hello, and finally Arisaema nepenthiodes, such a lovely patina on this spring inflorescence, it has such a neat shape to it, I had to capture it from both vantages.

Beautifully float mounted and framed by Detail Framing. (My current photo studio is my new polytunnel, great lighting, and atmospheric, n’est pas?)
