The Artisan Gift Shop at Peebles Library, Museum & Gallery, with Live Borders
I’ve been invited to exhibit at theTweeddale Museum & Gallery in Peebles with a fantastic group of artists, our collective exhibition curated by Live Borders forms ‘The Artisans Gift Shop‘ which celebrates the rich and diverse work of local artisans, manufacturers and small businesses.
The Gift Shop features curated and locally sourced products including jewellery, textiles, art, ceramics, cards and much more. Live Borders’ aim is to support a wide variety of local artists, crafts persons and manufacturers, with a focus on promoting, preserving and reviving the local and dying arts, culture and traditional skills of their crafters.
Peebles Library, Museum, & Gallery is a beautiful space with lots to see and do, Alex and I were particularly impressed with the friezes in the museum and the beautiful war memorial which really sparkles, as was intended by its creator.
